Describe a Time You Made a Decision to Wait for Something IELTSCUECARDS-VINODSHARMAIELTS

Describe a time you made a decision to wait for something

Introduction.

Waiting really tests one's patience level; the one who can wait can create miracles. And sometimes we regret it after making a quick decision. Waiting is not a Cup of tea for impatient people. Investors and artists wait for the right time and they hit the nail on the head. By selecting the right time and place for action. Waiting can really help you make the right decisions. Which may have many benefits.

Main Answer.

Here I am going to talk about an decision regarding an investment I made recently.

- When it happened - What you waited for

I have been investigating the share market from my college days and it has taught me valuable lessons.Recently I wanted to invest some money in the stock market and I was planning to buy some good stocks. I just finalized some scripts and my friend called me and told me to wait until there is some big news coming in.

- Why you made the decision

I made this decision just because I trust my friend and when says wait means there is something big coming. We are investors and we know the nerve of the share market. When I put my decision on hold for sometime I benefited. The market crashed and rates came down.

- And explain how you felt while waiting.

While waiting I get second thoughts many times but I have to trust my intuition and take the call from my head not my heart. When I listen to my head I always benefit. It is really difficult to wait but sometimes we need to be practical to achieve targeted success.

Describe a Time You Made a Decision to Wait for Something Model Answer 2

Introduction.

Waiting actually tests one's patience levels. Everyone can not wait, especially in this fast paced world of technology people have become impatient. Today due to huge demand and limited supply we have to register and wait for many products, for example, electronic gadgets and vehicles. Waiting for worthy products always benefits us.

- When it happened.-What you waited for.

Actually my father wanted to buy a new car and we already had two cars, one sedan and another hatchback so he was planning to buy a SUV and for this situation we had to make a decision and wait. A couple of months ago we decided to buy a Mahindra XUV700. It's an Indian car with a lot of features and this car beats all others in its segment so we wanted to buy this car. When we approached the dealership they made our bookings and told us to wait for six months.

- Why did you make the decision?

This period of waiting was quite long and we all family members were eager to enjoy the new ride. Looking at other cars there was no car near to XUU700 so we decided to wait for this car. We wanted a car with good features and maximum security and on the top of all its an Indian manufactured car so it's like it's worth waiting for a good product.

- And explain how you felt while waiting.

The feeling of waiting can not be explained in words, it reminds us with every heartbeat that we want something. In between I kept in touch with the dealership so whenever there is an update I can catch up. They told me if somebody from the registered buyers cancels their car we will give it to you. So I inquired every week to get an update on my car.

Here I am going to discuss one incident where I waited and it was worth waiting. I wanted to make this movement very special so I decided to wait for the right time and place to do my actions.

- What you waited for.

Actually, I have been in a relationship for the last couple of years and with my parents' agreement I decided to get married so My mom suggested that I ask my girlfriend what she thinks about the future. So, I decided to propose to her in the most unique way that she remembers for whole life. I wanted this memory to be special so I wanted to do it on her birthday so I patiently waited and planned the right occasion.

- Why you made the decision.

My girlfriend is quite a romantic girl and she wants everything to be filmy and she keeps doing things like this all the time. I know she has celebrated all my birthdays in the most wonderful way and no one can match her planning when it comes to giving a surprise so it was a challenging move for me to surprise her.

I felt very nervous as I was under tremendous pressure to make the incident memorable. I wanted to make every second of that movement special so I went deep in planning and double crossed all the things I had planned.
