In this consumer culture today we see a lot of plastic used and people who don't care about the environment throw litter as they feel somebody is paid to clean the streets and parks. Increasing plastic waste is having an alarming effect on the biosphere. If authorities don't take steps to reduce this land contamination it will be dangerous for all living beings.

Here I am going to talk about a park I visited and there was a mountain of plastic there
- Where and when you saw the plastic waste
Recently I was in a metro city for a business meeting and I thought about going for a walk in a nearby park so in the evening when I was walking in the park I saw a huge mountain of plastic waste and I felt shocked how somebody can be so irresponsible to do this here.
- Why there was a lot of plastic waste
I inquired about the situation to nearby people and they told me that nobody comes to collect the waste regularly from the municipal corporation so it has been laying here for fifteen days. People from the neighbourhood came here and left their waste bags here so it become a mountain.
- What you did do after you saw it
I immediately clicked some pictures and uploaded them on my social media and tagged the respective authorities and the municipal commissioner. I also made some important phone calls to respective offices. Suddenly I started receiving media attention and there were people from different media groups and it was a hot potato in town. The municipal corporation took immediate action and cleared the mountain of plastic.
- And explain what your thoughts were about this.
Being a responsible citizen I did what should be done on time. I did not like it at all and I felt sorry for those people who did not report this issue to higher authorities. I believe tolerating such garbage is not good at all.

Introduction.
Pollution is a concerning issue and increasing use of plastic products is contaminating the land everywhere. We all know plastic can not degrade in land like others so it stays for years and keeps the environment tainted. People should be made aware about the use of plastic products so we can save the environment. Tourism is also a major reason behind plastic in tourist places.
- Where and when you saw the plastic waste.
Here I am going to talk about a beach I visited in my home state and it was really full with little all around. Actually I was traveling to my relatives place and it was a coastal area in south Gujarat. We stopped near a beach where I saw some tourists. It was evening so we decided to stop and visit the beach for refreshments.
- Why there was a lot of plastic waste.
As we visited the beach it was a wonderful view out there of the open sea and sunset. The view was picturesque. At one place I also saw a lot of plastic bottles of beverages and laying this was not good at all. The tourists who visited this place threw litter on the beach and it was making this place look bad.
- What you did after you saw it.
I saw this and I was deeply disturbed about plastic all over the beach. I complained to a nearby authority about this alarming issue. And I even clicked some pictures and reported to the tourism department and requested them to clean the beach as it may have negative effect to the marine life.
- And explain what your thoughts were about this
I really was not happy with how tourists behave. They enjoy good movements and spread litter all over. I believe it's the lack of education and awareness regarding an alarming issue in my country. The government and authority should take the initiative and make people aware by organising camps and using figureheads of the society.

Using plastic products is not a problem definitely we should use plastic products they are more reliable and cheaper but when they are not in use we should not throw them here and there we should throw them to proper garbage places where they can be recycled and use again and again for example there are landfills where we can really leave all the plastic.
2 How can we reduce our use of plastic?
We should definitely reduce the use of plastic the first thing is we should return to traditional values of sharing things and we should make the use of things made up of metal which are more reliable and their last law we should try to avoid single use plastic to reduce the use of plastic.
3 What kinds of plastic waste are often seen in your country?
In my country probably I see a lot of plastic where here and there there of plastic water bottles and fast food packaging this is the biggest issue and in my country today people are more aware that they have started using the beans to throw their plastic waste but in some places still I see plastic bottles of cold drink and water are lying here and there.
4 Why do people like to use plastic products?
People like to use plastic products because they are light in weight they are more cheaper than metal products and their easy to buy so this are the main reasons why people refer to use plastic products.
