Describe A Period When You Were Busy IELTSCUECARDS-VINODSHARMAIELTS

Describe a period when you were busy.
Introduction.
During weekdays, many people are busy with their jobs, focusing on tasks like meetings, emails, and project deadlines. On weekends, families often find themselves occupied with household chores, errands, and spending quality time together. During holidays, individuals may be busy with travel plans, shopping, and preparing for celebrations with friends and relatives.
- When it was.
Last week I was extremely busy as I was preparing for my exam and there was a huge celebration in my college. I am preparing for my competitive exams so I keep myself engaged with my academic work. When something unexpected comes it makes me busy.
- What you did during the period.
Already I was occupied with my academics and I wanted to clear the exam this time so I decided to reschedule my whole timetable for the week. In my university we get an opportunity once in a year to take part in extracurricular activities and this adds good points to our academic record.I planned my whole day according to the time needed I added some hours for practice in early morning and late night for revision this made things easy for me.
- What made you busy.
Now when the whole timetable was fixed there was an activity to do all the time and very less time to relax. This made me busy and occupied. I had limited time for everything so I used every hour carefully and paid minute attention to details. Early in the morning I went for my practice, followed by regular college lectures, traveling back to home, helping dad in business and doing preparation in the late evening. Sometimes it made me feel low but my motivation kept me alive through all situations.
- And explain how you felt about the experience.
Every minute invested became a movement of joy. I performed my best and got a standing ovation from the audience and won the first prize, and my preparation also worked in my favor. I cleared my competitive exam with flying colors. I learnt a very important lesson from this situation that everyone has equal amounts of time but those people are successful who use time in correct manner to build themselves.

MODEL ANSWER 2
Describe a period when you were busy.
Introduction.
Working can be sometimes hectic due to busy schedules and overload of work. If proper time management is not done one can have a negative effect on work. Sometimes we make appointments and then get busy. Apart from working, people also get busy with family functions and festivals due to a lot of guests arriving. Preparation and management of food and decoration can be a tiring process.

- When it was.
Here I am going to talk about a situation when I was extremely busy.Last winter it was the occasion of my elder brother's marriage and the whole family was quite excited for the marriage ceremony. I returned from my hostel as it was a big fat wedding in the family. I was also excited. In the beginning I thought marriage meant lots of fun and partying hard with cousins and friends. But this is a myth, I was given a huge responsibility of taking care of each and every guest at the venue. And also coordinate with the kitchen. I was literally running here and there in the day of marriage did not have a couple of minutes to meet my brother

- What you did during the period.
As it was my brother's marriage I took the responsibility on my shoulder and kept my word. I took very good care of each and every guest arriving at the venue. Made arrangements for their food and beverages. And till they left they tried to play the best host. There were many orders from the kitchen which I also handled with the help of my friends. They were also really very helpful.

- What made you busy.
I was busy just because my father was going to perform marriage rituals so he could not greet everyone coming. So he gave me this responsibility and I assured him nothing will go wrong. My both parents were performing marriage rituals and looking at my brother getting married I felt so happy. Sometimes I got tired running here and there but I managed everything well.

- And explain how you felt about the experience.
The experience was quite thrilling as I had responsibility on my shoulders for the first time my family was in action and we all were trying to make the occasion beautiful by showing our hospitality. I got to know my relatives while having small chats with them. I made new friends and came close to my cousins so it was a time of physical pain but the joy in the experience can not be described in words.
