Describe A Job You Would Not Like To Do In The Future IELTSCUECARDS-VINODSHARMAIELTS

Describe a job you would not like to do in the future.

Introduction.

We need to earn to make our livelihood and doing a job or a business is a must to earn our bread and butter. Some jobs are so satisfying that one just gets engrossed and forgets everything else while others are some odd jobs that are really annoying. People just avoid being in this position anyhow.

-What is the job ?

Here I am going to talk about a job of a police officer as this job is so much respected but it has its dark sides. Police officers play a very important role in maintaining the safety and security of the community but they have to sacrifice a lot in personal life to make others feel happy.

-How you heard about it?

My friend's father is a police officer and he tells me all about his father's job which includes a mountain of responsibility which he has to take care of. I also have seen many officers working round the clock without any hesitation or personal reasons.

-Why don't you want to do it?

I believe a person needs to have a work-life balance and in this job there is zero work-life balance. Here the officer's need to work unlimited hours. They have to be in the security of political leaders for a year, they never come home on time and their children don't get enough chances to spend time with them. And on important festivals they are working without a leave.

-How do you feel about the job?

The job is important and respected in society but it's too demanding . In this job a person needs to be physically and mentally fit as they deal with hard-core criminals on a daily basis. There is a threat to life in protecting people so it is a job which needs to be done with a lot of care and sacrifice.

MODEL ANSWER 2

Describe a job you would not like to do in the future.

Introduction.

Some jobs people generally dislike involve unpleasant or dangerous tasks, like cleaning sewage systems, handling waste disposal, or working in extreme weather conditions. Others might include jobs with high stress levels, such as customer service roles, telemarketing, or positions in the healthcare sector that involve dealing with difficult patients or emergencies.

-What is the job ?

Customer service roles involve providing assistance and support to customers, addressing their inquiries, complaints, and needs. While these positions are crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty, they can be challenging due to the diverse range of customer personalities and issues that arise. Customer service representatives often need strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and problem-solving abilities to effectively handle various situations. Dealing with irate or frustrated customers, navigating complex inquiries, and meeting demanding service standards can make these roles stressful.

-How you heard about it?

I have heard from many colleagues who are working in this sector and they describe their daily routine which is like hell they face a series of issues which can not be described in words. And today every company needs to have a proper customer service center to make sure their products and services are up to the mark.

-Why don't you want to do it?

I don't like customer service jobs because they have to deal with upset customers, handle many problems at once, and work irregular hours. It can be emotionally exhausting and stressful, with little control over solving issues. Negative interactions and criticism from customers can also take a toll on morale and job satisfaction. Furthermore, the irregular hours required for some customer service positions can disrupt work-life balance and personal commitments, adding to the dislike for these roles.

-How do you feel about the job?

Customer service roles have both positive and negative aspects. On the positive side, they offer opportunities to help others, develop communication skills, and contribute to customer satisfaction. However, the job can also be stressful, emotionally exhausting, and demanding, leading to burnout for some individuals. Overall, while customer service roles can be rewarding for those who excel in them, they may not be suitable for everyone due to the challenges they entail.
