Describe A Time When You Were Late.


Being punctual is a phenomenal quality. People with time management achieved real success and they value time. Sometimes in rare conditions people reach late and they have to suffer in their work. Being late intentionally is an extremely bad example of a personality. One should always respect time.

- When it was.

Here I am going to talk about a situation when I reached late. Normally I am a punctual person with a kind heart which makes me late to reach places sometimes.

- why you were late.

Actually I was going for my interview for a new job and I was late by almost one hour and it made a serious note to my employer. When he asked me my reason for being late I told him in between I saw an accident and I decided to help them to get emergency services and I waited till the ambulance arrived and took them to hospital. I very much knew this act of mine would make me late in the interview but my heart felt a life saved is more important so I made sure all of them reach the hospital immediately.

- how you felt about being late.

I felt good that I have helped someone who was suffering on the road and I was feeling bad at the same time what my employer will think about me and my commitment towards time. So I explained to him my situation inside out and he also appreciated my efforts for showing a kind gesture.

Describe A Time When You Were Late.


Time management is something that everyone should learn and divide time to obtain a work-life balance. Sometimes I get late and this becomes a hurdle for me. When I promise some things to my family and friends they have expectations. Reaching to the destination is important and if one is late they miss a lot of things and they regret.

- When it was.

Normally I am always on time and rarely it happens that I am late. Last weekend my family and I decided to watch a movie together. My friends were so excited to watch the blockbuster movie avatar. My friend booked the tickets and I was going to join them directly in the cinema.

- why you were late.

The movie was going to begin at 9.15 so I left my office early by ten minutes and it takes half an hour to reach the multiplex. In between I was stuck in a traffic jam. It took one hour for the traffic to clear and My friends were calling me repeatedly. I got a little irritated and angry with myself. Why does this happen to me only? My friends went inside and told me to join them when I reached. When I reached it was intermission and I missed the whole first half of the movie.

- how you felt about being late.

The feeling can not be explained in words. I love to watch movies and this was my favorite movie. I did not get to watch it from the beginning and missed all the fun with my friends. They celebrated my friend's birthday at the same time I missed that too. So it was not a good day and I did not like it at all.

1. Are you ever late for anything?

Yes many Times i reach late due to traffic jams, wake-up late,and vehicle breakdowns. This issue troubles me a lot.

2. What excuses do you use when you are late?

I do not like to give an excuse, in fact I will tell whatever the reason is. If the mistake is from my side I would not hesitate to apologize. 

3. What excuses do people have when they are late?

Normally when people are late they blame others, traffic, health reasons and these are some common excuses.

4. Are you good at organizing time?

Yes absolutely I am very good at organizing time. I like to prepare my schedule and allot time for various activities which give me room for academics, sports,and leisure activities.

5. How do you usually organize time?

I make a time table for all different activities and I just follow it. Other than that I set an alarm on my phone to make me alert. I also created a to-do list in my phone.

6. Do you think planning is important for time management?

Definitely planning is the first thing in management. If it is done carefully it saves time, energy, resources,and finance, it makes the output more productive.

7. Why do you think some people pay to learn time management?

It is an important skill required in each and every field without time management. Success is always faraway so people need to learn this skill so they are willing to pay for it.

8. Do you think children should learn to manage time?

Absolutely yes, anything learnt in childhood becomes strength in adulthood so we should make them conscious about time and teach them the value of time. So they can organize themselves in their future.

9. Why do some people find it hard to follow their plans?

These people are weak in planning; they plan anything without analyzing their strength and resources. So when it comes to implementation they fail.

10.How would you teach your children time management?

I would like to teach them how to make a Time table and organize activities like academics and sports. Secondly, I will teach them to give importance to everything and achieve a good balance in time management.

11.Do old people and young people manage time in a similar way?

No, they have different approaches towards life. Old people are more patient, they can wait and make decisions wisely. While young people are impatient and they make some nasty Decisions. Young people use technology in time management and old people use traditional methods.
