- When and to whom you gave the speech.

I participated in an event organized by our state government and it was held in my university last year. where different speakers talked about the alarming issues in the society and I gave this speech in front of a huge audience from diverse backgrounds which included students, professors, academic experts, government officials, teachers and students from different schools. And my friends from college.

- What was the speech about?

My speech was about gender equality and today's condition compared to the past. In my speech I talked in detail about the condition of women and their rights in the past. How much injustice was done on a gender basis. Today gender is just an identity and men and women walk shoulder to shoulder and take equal responsibility. We see girls and boys taking interest in all fields. The boundaries have disappeared today. We can see women pilot's, politicians, and in Army and top academic positions , Men also take huge interest in kitchens and fashion designers which is considered a taboo in the past.

- Why did you give the speech?

I wanted to express my thoughts on the current trends and this was the best event to talk to a huge mass and encourage others to take part in such activities. My professor insisted that I take part as he knows I am an excellent orator and he helped me to choose a nice subject. I did an elaborate research about facts and figures which I share in my speech.

- How did you feel about it?

I love to talk in public and I don't have a drop of fear when I address a huge crowd. In fact I always grab such opportunities to improve my self confidence and communication skills. I saw people listening to me so curiously and paying absolute attention when I was talking which gave me confidence to speak more. I felt so nice to take part in this event and even win the first prize for giving an excellent speech.
