Describe a time when you organized a happy event successfully- Farewell IELTS CUE CARDS vinodsharmaielts

Introduction.

Organising an event is an important responsibility. One who is good in leadership, communication, and has excellent interpersonal skills can organise any event. As a student we organise get-together and farewell, Birthday parties, and many other events.

Main Answer

Here I am going to talk about a farewell we organised  for our favourite teacher.

- What the event was.

It was a big day for my favourite teacher Mr.Joy and my school friends told me we should do something special for him and we all decided to give him a grand farewell.

- How you prepared for it.

We all friends got together and decorated our school hall with his pictures and from the day he joined and the present day. Everything was kept so secret that nobody got an idea of such big planning going on.

- Who helped you to organize it?

Many people helped us in organising this event like my classmate, teachers, school staff, and our principal also. Give us the necessary permission to use the premises in whatever we want. We all managed funds by our own selves with the contribution of everybody from school. We managed the best food and beverage. We also bought a big present for him.

- And explain why you think it was a successful event.

It was a grand success as everybody was attached to Mr. Joy. He played an important role in our academics, we all ate good food, danced, teachers gave farewell speeches and I also thanked Mr. Joy for his time spent in our school. As everybody was emotionally connected with Mr joy it was a little hard to let him go. But with age we had to respect his privacy so we celebrated his farewell in the most memorable way.

Part 3 - Follow-up Questions

How can parents help children to be organized?

I think parents should have a daily schedule for their children. They should also allot every task a fixed amount of time. For example, they can ask them to write each task on the calendar and write how much time they expect to give to it alongside it. Then, there should be rewards and punishments for finishing or not finishing the tasks.

On what occasions do people need to be organized?

I don’t think people need an occasion to be organised. We should try to be organised all the time. When we are organised we tend to save time and do things faster. Also, being organised creates a good impression on others.

Does everything need to be well prepared?

I think all the important things should be well prepared, but the minor details can be left out. It's like a speech, we prepare the main ideas but we leave some liberty to make some changes with the minor details. Preparing everything in advance would be very exhausting if not impossible.

Do people need others' help when organizing things?

Well, it depends upon the task. If we are organising a big event, we definitely need help. For example, wedding planners have a whole team of 10-15 members because a single person cannot manage everything. But, if there are small things like a small family get together, I think a person can organise it on their own.
