Childhood is a wonderful age and if children pay enough attention to academics and extracurricular activities then they achieve heights in life. Proper guidance can lead them towards success in any field. Many cultures follow this just because they know childhood is the best age for learning and they teach their children almost everything in the beginning of life.
On the one hand, success is not something that can be achieved without hard work and skills. As a student it is always good that they learn important academic lessons and essential skills in their childhood. By learning and taking interest in sports and outdoors activities they become mentaly and physically fit. Moreover, if children learn all this at a very young age they will hone their skills all their life and in adulthood they will achieve career success in career. For instance, many parents want their children to learn foreign languages in primary school so they can master their skills in higher education and become successful in the global community.
On the other hand, childhood is also considered as the most valuable time of a child's life and they should be free to celebrate life and childhood. Many people believe children should not be given stress-like situations in early stages of life; they may sometimes not even understand and are interested in certain activities. Putting them in a competition -like situation can have a negative influence on them and they may develop some negative traits of personality. Many parents push their children towards some activities for becoming successful and the child fails sometimes and feels inferiority complex which remains with them their whole life.
To sum up, children are like flowers in the garden. We should let them blossom on their own. Only basic education and skills should be taught to them so they do not face any problem in life.
