Today's in the present era people live in a global community and they practice their customs and traditions with this food is also important here. People share a common taste globally. Increasing demand for food products enhances imports and exports. People should eat a balanced diet which contains local and imported food products.

On the one hand, today with a rising population the demand for food is high and agricultural business is limited. Developing nations are exporting a huge amount of food products. Moreover, it is easy to trade in food today. It's a global market and the demand is always high. With excellent infrastructure today public and private transport food can be sent to any part of the world. Furthermore, governments are also collaborating with each other to fulfill the demand. For instance, some countries in south east asia totally import food products from other countries.

On the other hand, globalization has caused a magnetic effect on today's people and they are becoming more global by accepting other cultures. They celebrate common festivals and eat the same food. This causes distance with their own culture. Healthy lifestyle is essential so people need to eat a balanced diet so people should eat locally produced food which is farm fresh and easily available. This will support the local farmers and help the economy of the country. Secondly, eating local food products is less harmful to health as it has no preservatives and chemical treatment done. 

To sum up, Today people live in a global culture and eat food from all around the world which is excellent for taste but they should also eat locally produced food keeping health in mind.
