Introduction.
We read a lot about wars in our history. It is full of bloodshed. War is always dangerous for any nation. Nobody benefits from it. People lose lives in wars, many children become orphans in this situation and they lose family members in war. In the history of the world we have seen a lot of destruction happen in the past. Today also many wars are happening which are not beneficial to anybody.
Main Answer.
Today I am going to talk about the greatest war in Indian history, the war of Mahabharata.
What was the war about? Who fought it?
This happened ages ago in my country where many people lost their lives. It was all about family disputes and rights to the kingdom. It took place between the Pandavas and kauravas; they fought with each other and there was a lot of bloodshed that happened in Warfield. Thousands of soldiers took part in this war lord Krishna was guiding the Pandavas in this war. They fought for many days against the army of duryodhana. Arjun played an important role in this war.
How did you learn about it?
This war story is mythological and I have seen television programs about and read in religious books. A lot of things are written about this war. It was the biggest war of that time in world history. It ended using the Brahmastra, the most dangerous weapon in human history.
What happened in this war?
There was a huge army of kauravas who wanted to take over the kingdom of Pandavas. Lord Krishna guided Arjun by being on his side and gave him important war guidance and preaching about life which became an important tool to win the war. In the end Pandavas defeated the whole army of kauravas and won the war. It is the biggest war of human history that took place in India as per mythological stories.
