Describe An Introvert Person IELTS CUE CARDS VINODSHARMAIELTS

Describe an introvert person whom you know.
Introduction.

There are many kinds of people around us one can easily express their ideas and opinions and others are limited to people who they are comfortable with. These kinds of people are introverted people. They feel hesitation in telling something they want to express. While extrovert people are excellent in communication they can openly discuss anything and everything.

Main Answer.

Here I am going to talk about a girl who is an introverted person and feels a lot of hesitation all the time.

Who is his person?

Marry lives just behind my house and she is my childhood friend. She is excellent in academics and scores colourful marks in every exam. She just lacks some communication skills which makes her stand behind others.

How well do you know him/her?

Being childhood friends we have a strong bonding and she can express herself in front of me. We do our academic work and projects together. Since childhood we have played together and celebrated all the festivals with each other. Our parents are family friends.

What makes him/her introverted?

She is a shy girl when it comes to express her opinion in front of others and sometimes she can not tell important things to others just because of this hesitation. She never takes part in extra curricular activities in school as she doesn't like to communicate with other people. I always try to make her comfortable with others but when I am not around she sits alone this makes her an introverted person.

What would you suggest to this person?

I have suggested many things. I motivate her to make friends. Make her watch motivational videos. I even talk about different shades of personality. I want her to take part and do some volunteer work in the community so she gets the opportunity to make conversation with others. I have made enough efforts to make her like me and to an extent I have succeed but I am not totally successful at changing her.

Model Answer 2

Introduction.

Introverted people find difficulties in expression and they lack communication skills. Because of their hesitation they can not make friends. While extroverted people are totally opposite, they are like chatterboxes. They talk, talk and talk. They do not find any difficulty in expressing their ideas or opinions.

Main Answer.

Here I am going to talk about a small girl who lives in my neighborhood.

- Who is the person?

The name of this person is Lily. She is quite introverted and I have seen her very quiet all the time. In Fact after a longtime I came to know she is my neighbour.

- How well do you know him/her?

She studys in my school and one day I took part in a drawing competition there. I saw the winner was a girl from the primary section and out of curiosity I enquired and I came to know she is my neighbour. Then I tried to talk but what I found was that she talks very less. She speaks in words not sentences.

- What makes him/her introverted?

I asked her mom why she is like this and her mom replied from her childhood she is so afraid to make friends. She makes paintings and reads books in academics. She is good but lacks social skills when it comes to conversation. She avoids and prefers to stay alone and quiet.

- And explain how you feel about this person?

I feel good that she is good in academics and creativity. She should make friends and share her ideas. She can collaborate with school groups and do projects. Bonding with friends will enhance her personality and she can benefit a lot. Now she has started talking to me so I am trying my best to make her a social person.
