Introduction.

Preserving our culture and tradition is important to preserve our identity. A product that has historically been recognized as a traditional product or produced according to technical specifications in a traditional way or according to traditional methods of production or protected as traditional by a national or other regulation. My country is a land of culture and traditions so we have a lot of traditional objects.

Main Answer.

Here I am going to talk about a traditional product I bought.

What is it.

Recently I visited Kashmir and I purchased a shawl. It's very special to me as it has traditional value. In earlier times, shawls were used as a warm protective garment against cold weather. By the 13th century, Kashmir shawls had risen in status and quality and were commonly used as fashion statements. Shawls were marketed towards the ruling elite, and foreign markets.

- How is it made?

The earliest examples have a plain ground with end borders featuring large floral sprays, flower vases, and pinecones. Kashmir shawls are woven partly or wholly from goat hair called pashm. In the 19th century, shawls were classified as pashm shāla (made from the hair of domesticated goats) and aslī tūsh (made from the hair of wild goats). By this time, kashmir shawls had also become fashionable in Europe.

- When did you try it for the first time?

I tried it when I bought it and I made a visit to my friend's place. It was a cold day and the temperature was freezing. When I wore this shawl I felt so warm and comfortable. Even though I was looking good, people at my friend's place appreciated my looks with a shawl.

- Why do you like it?

I liked it because of its traditional significance as it represents kashmiri culture and tradition. People living in extreme cold areas never come out without their shawl and they look very elegant when they put on kashmiri shawls.

Wooden tyres and high quality of steel were used to make such vehicles. People of vishwakarma community have the mastery to craft this vehicles.

- When did you try it for the first time?

As a child I used to visit my village and I saw these vehicles carrying grass and agricultural products to the city. One my grandfather took me to the city in this cart. It was a joy ride for me. Out of curiosity I asked many questions about the vehicle and I was so surprised about such vehicles. My grandfather also told me stories about these carts and how they were used in ancient times.
