Introduction.
Today in the age of information and technology there is no possibility of getting lost but in the past when there were no electronic maps people used to get lost there was no online support and people travelled very less. Today people travel for education,job, entertainment,and leisure and they all use technology to help them find the way. Even with Google maps today one can travel in the remote areas.
Main Answer.
Here I am going to talk about a situation when I got lost.
- When did it happen.
This incident happened when I travelled to Hyderabad for an education trip.
- Who was with you?
I was traveling with my classmate and we all were on a tour to ramoji film city. It's the biggest film city in Asia and many movies are made here. My professor was also with us.
- What did you do?
When I was traveling inside the film city I was visiting one place to another. And I was curious to visit sets of various movies and tv. And I realised my friends are not around me so I felt a little nervous and checked my mobile. My cell was dead with low battery so I had to inquire here and there after one hour I saw my professor and then I joined them again.
- How you felt about it.
Being a mature person I did not fear but I was worried about my colleagues who were not around and I did not want to stay alone all day. So I tried to find them and accompanied them.

Do you often get lost?
No, I do not get lost often. But sometimes in unknown places where it is crowded and roads are not visible this happens to me but I am heavily dependent on gps so I find my ways.
Is map-reading skill important?
Yes, definitely it is the most important skill today when people travel a lot for different reasons. This skill can save time and make journeys interesting for them.
Are some people better at map-reading than others?
Yes, definitely they are they use Google maps everyday and they are good at directions so they can find the route in a better way so yes those who use maps regularly they are good at map reading.
Should they find information about the place before going there?
Yes, finding information before traveling can save time and resources. And make travelling interesting. If we do some work before traveling then our journey becomes memorable.
Why do some people like travelling to other places?
Travelling is a hobby and exploring different places is amazing. People want to experience different cultures,food, and historical places of other regions so they like to travel.
