Here I am going to talk about my elder brother who made us proud by becoming an IAS officer.

This happened a couple of years back. My elder brother was always eager to serve the nation so he was preparing for his competitive examination. And he cleared it with good rank in the state so it was a feeling of excitement in the family.

His name is Jack and he has completed his bachelor in history. He was always interested in becoming a police officer from childhood. And he started his preparation very early just after his secondary education.
- What the person did.
He made countless efforts and did not look back in studies. He used to study day and night. I have seen him spending sleepless nights before examinations. He joined a training institute for preparation. In his free time he always watched videos related to general knowledge. I have seen him not wasting a single minute.
- And explain why you felt proud of him/her.
I am so proud of him as he is the first person to become an IAS officer in my family and our town. He has made our hometown popular by achieving this milestone. My parents feel so proud on him he has achieved phenomenal success.

My brother Joe invested in some stocks and cryptocurrency as he understands the benefits of Investing in cryptocurrency: Risk and returns. He knows all about Implementing blockchain banking in banks. He invested in Bitcoin in 2009 and today he is a millionaire. He's got high returns in all his finance stocks and bank shares. He takes calculated risks and does proper market research before buying any cryptocurrency or stocks.
- And explain why you felt proud of him/her.
Today we all live a luxury life and we bought our dream house. We all live an extremely luxurious life just because of his smart investment today he owns a popular investment firm and is the director of a leading stock broking services company. So we all feel proud of him.

When would parents feel proud of their children?
Parents may feel proud when their children achieve their goals and achieve success. This makes the entire family proud and sets a good example of success which other children in the family follow.
Should parents reward children? Why and how?
Absolutely yes, rewards are necessary as they motivate and appreciate children to work dedicated towards their goal. A small price of appreciation or reward can make a child so happy and joyful. Every parent should reward their children when they achieve something in life.
Is it good to reward children too often? Why?
Not very often this brings greed and stubborn nature in children. They become materialistic and greedy for things so when they achieve something phenomenal then only a reward should be given. Rewarding often can have bad effects.
On what occasions would adults be proud of themselves?
Adults become proud when they achieve something in their careers or when they buy their dream house or car, when they go for holidays they feel proud that they have achieved something that they always wanted. All this gives a sense of satisfaction to them.
