Making and keeping promises is a sign of a gentleman. One should always keep their promises when they make to others. This builds trust and the character of a person. Those who don't keep promises are not taken seriously and nobody trusts or relies on them. Main Answer.

Here, I am going to talk about a promise I made to my daughter.

- Whom did you make the promise to

My daughter Aarya study's in 1 standard and she is so bright in her academics. We both have a good bonding with each other.

- What the promise was

Once she asked me to buy a bicycle. She really wanted it and I promised to give it to her on her next birthday when she turns seven. Whenever I make a promise I try my best to keep it at any cost. Whether it is to my daughter, parents or friends.

- Why you made the promise

I made this promise to wait until she is ready for the big bicycle and when she grows up a little bit she can ride the bicycle comfortably. I could buy it at the same time but I thought waiting for a year would be a Better idea and she can have a good bicycle.

- Was the promise easy to achieve?

Yes this promise was easy to achieve financially. But every morning she reminded me about my promise. This part was a little bit tough for me. I learnt a lesson that never makes children wait for something they become more curious about the thing they want.
