Stuttering affect the IELTS speaking score?

How much does stuttering affect the IELTS speaking score?

It doesn’t as long as you have informed the centre ahead of time. If you go to the test not having informed the test centre of your speech impediment then you may struggle. The test is strictly timed and if your stuttering slows you down then you won’t be producing as much language as you need to do. In the test you will be nervous and this will make your stuttering much more pronounced.
So, what can you do? Easy. Tell the centre you have a stutter. Then you will be allotted more time to do the exam. It will be much easier for you and the person conducting the test, and you will get a fairer chance at the test.
Whatever you do, don’t do nothing!
Good luck.
